Vintage Dandy: The English Derby

In honor of yesterday's Kentucky Derby I dug up these photos from the July, 1921 Chicago Apparel Gazette article "At The English Derby".

The King and Queen of England arriving at the Epsom Race Course.

The Prince of Wales.
The Prince of Wales in a one-button morning coat chatting with the jockey who won the derby.
One of the best dressed men at the derby.
A morning coat of plain grey worsted made with a long roll to button at the waistline.
James de Rothchild in a sack jacket bound with wide black silk ribbon.
