It's the time of year when charities throw their yearly benefit and with any luck they're outside on a beautiful spring evening. Time for lighter and brighter colors, although we're still holding off a bit more for the seersucker and linen.

With this post we begin a series in which we pair several of our items together for a particular look. This one was inspired by our day today which was spent at our booth at the Brooklyn Flea. When we left early this morning to set up for the day it was rather chilly, but I knew that it would probably end up warm and sunny (which it did). By the end of the day it was down right cold and windy by the water. This is the time of year when layering is key because of the varying temperature so our first look is our transitional weather look.
