Dandy Retail: Tender Buttons
While preparing for his trip stateside, Ray Frensham mentioned to me his desire to visit Tender Buttons, a 50-year-old button shop on the Upper East Side. So earlier in the week I accompanied him for a visit. Ray scored as he had been searching for silk covered buttons for a new frock coat and found them at Tender Buttons (he had been told everywhere that no one makes them anymore). Definitely worth a visit.
