Dandies In Training: Hackett Kids
We've been fans of Hackett London for some time and have posted images from past collections here and here. We were thrilled this week when we saw the lookbook for Hackett Kids Fall/Winter 2010. Imagine being so stylish at such a young age!

Vintage Dandy: Mont Pleasant Lodge, No 717
While deleting some photos from my camera I rediscovered some I took at the Gild Hall in New York City last fall. Right outside the restroom is a massive (4' x 6') framed series of photos from the Mont Pleasant Lodge, No 717, apparently some sort of fraternal organization in Schenectady, New York dating back to the late 1800's. Based on the "DECEASED" on the bottom I'm guessing that this was a memorial to the members who had passed away.

Dandy Advertising: Murad Cigarettes
From the October 1, 1929, program for the Henry Miller's Theatre.
Embarrassing Moments - When you bring two delightful acquaintances together and find out they divorced each other five years ago...be nonchalant...LIGHT A MURAD.
