We've received our first press coverage from one of my favorite style blogs, Refinery 29 in the post Beau Brummels Rejoice: Online Shop of Dandy Accessories Opens:

The term dandy brings to mind images of a long lost generation where men placed emphasis on living a stylish and posh existence. Although the dandy may seem like a call to the past, a new website, FineandDandyshop.com, is attempting to start a revival. The online store features an eclectic and eccentric treasure chest of accessories that would make even an NYU frat boy look like a Dapper Dan.

Dandies In Print: TIME

Last week's issue of Time Magazine featured a depression era photo of a soup line and the cover story questioned whether the U.S. could be heading into another depression. I was immediately struck by how the men in line were dressed. In that time of desperation it's amazing how well dressed they were. It made me start to think how accessories are key in a recession (or heaven forbid, a depression). Accessories are a great and inexpensive way of sprucing up your wardrobe with minimal investment.
