Last week in my stocking I found a copy of Etiquette For The Well-Dressed Man, a cheeky style guide compiled by Jan Barnes. A few favorite tips: "In the country, a high hat looks ridiculous, and would only be worn by a snob."
"When you have once tied a bow properly the matter becomes easier and easier at every attempt."
"If you are not getting ahead as quickly as you would like, try the moral effect of a new suit."
