I've watched this video a number of times, and I can't get away from the impression that it looks more like cricket than american baseball. Is it just me? By the bye, I love your blog and read it every day.
Hmmm. Could be Thom. I don't pretend to be an expert in either sport. Which would be more likely in the US in the 1920's? Any thoughts from anyone else? I'll put up the question on facebook as well. And thanks for the blog love Thom.
I'm pretty certain that's baseball, played with a funny little bat. There's a reason hoodies were absent in Riverdale, NY in the 1920s, but I won't go into it. Draw your own conclusions. I'd rather avoid controversial statements this fine, sunny Sunday morning. Wonderful blog, BTW. :)
