Dandy Video: Jazz Age Lawn Party

Dandies In Print: Four Famous Dandies

Via Cator Sparks on the New York Times T Magazine blog, fashion illustrator Jim Howard's Four Famous Dandies will be released next week by Paper Studio Press.  Howard captures Beau Brummell, Oscar Wilde, the Duke of Windsor, and modern-day dandy Patrick McDonald in a book of, wait for it... paper dolls.  (Please take note for a certain shopkeeper's Christmas wish list).  Already a new title to add to our Dandy Reading list.

Dandies In Print: The New York Times

In Sunday's New York Times, Bill Cunningham shoots New York guys coping with the heat from the past few weeks.  The photos show the familiar image of guys walking with jackets in hand.  And then he shows a few "young fellas" who embrace the heat and look like a million bucks.  We were delighted to see that Cunningham shot our friend Michael Andrew (last photos) three days in a row.
